Allegations Hevilift in need of urgent attention

heviliftIt is becoming evident that the Mineral Resource Development Company (MRDC) shares in Hevilift PNG are going to become worthless as Hevelift is losing contracts and is in financial difficulty, owing many business money both in PNG and overseas.

Aircraft are being grounded because parts are not available to fix them and others are being flown in poor condition. Experienced staff are leaving in droves because their concerns are not being heeded.

When will the Government do something to address this obviously uncontrolled and poorly managed company and hopefully save some lives?

This is total bullcrap, I guess the author of this article does not know what He/She just posted. Get your facts right, Hevilift is progressing very well, and FYI they do not operate on credit basis, and they do not owe anyone anything. This is utter non-sense I guess you are fighting for your bread and butter and not for the success and prosperity of Hevilift.

This taste like someone who had just been sacked and up for revenge. FYI Hevilift had started commencing charter operation with Newcrest Mining Limited – Lihir last month taking over from Air Niugini servicing the Cairns/Lihir, New Guinea Islands and the POM/Lihir Sector utilizing their ATR42 aircraft. This seem positive sign that the airliner is progressing, where did this crap come from, looks like someone who is unhappy.

Actually there is a lot of truth in this… They have been busted stealing parts from aircraft that are not there own and have been accused of parting out lease machines and absorbing the parts into their own system. An Atr in cairns has been robbed without permission and an engineer acting under orders in under investigation. Investigators have also be spotted around their operations and are making advances towards possible witnesses. As for Credit Paul B’s inflated move to Singapore and other misguided adventures have reportedly cost 100 mil. As for people leaving…. All true. Other png organizations are being flooded with CV’s and the rate of sackings has sky rocketed over the last couple of years due to engineers complaining about the unsafe practices and lack of parts, typical reaction from management is to fire the “trouble makers”
