Perhaps the most politically incorrect and unprofessional job advertisement I’ve ever read. In one fell swoop, Peter Sharp has deemed most Papua New Guineans to be incapable of performing their jobs and insulted our collective intelligence.
And the note to potentional female applicants is funny! Misognist much?

The inclusion of the 99% on a national paper as an official advertisement will surely come from a recruiter who has already made up his mind that 99/100 of ALL PNGns do not have the capacity to control….Well I have news for you, P. Sharp. You haven’t been to the other 19 provinces. You haven’t seen men, women, youth of high caliber, who can make wise decisions based on mutual understanding and fairness with respect to each ethnic group and their culture, than based on the profit alone. They are the quiet ones behind the scenes who don’t look for fame or fortune. You obviously didn’t stand by your standards when you recruited!

PS for your information PNG a small nation has 88 plus languages and cultural diversity… How PNG citizens interact, understand and accept each other is so amazing despite the different cultural backgrounds. So isnt that enough to qualify the 99% of all PNGians to know how to address a foreigner and rationalise during decision making???Taking favor or nepotism is not only practised in PNG but world wide so why do you judge PNG with that point? dont look down on PNG cos this is where you find wealth.. And for your infor the wealth you find here are the blessings to this 99% of people you are critizising. So its better you stop acting smart and put out vacancy advertisments that I may say are quite racists.
PNG is a christian country and generally all people are caring and loving. So as long as you threat us fair and equal, you will be always welcome as a brother to stay on in the country.
